Al Barari is an environmentally-conscious community with a focus on sustainability and living in harmony with nature. Known for its luxury properties including spacious apartments and villas for sale in Dubai, Al Barari is among the most exclusive and eco-friendly developments in the UAE. Literally meaning "wilderness", Al Barari was designed to be a true desert oasis. Eighty percent of the development is made up of green space that envelopes the palatial villas. Beautiful themed gardens, naturally landscaped lakes, freshwater streams, cascades and waterways make it the lowest density development in the UAE and more akin to a botanical garden than a residential community.
Al Barari, located in Dubailand is deemed a new way of living and encompasses 217 luxury villas, a gourmet restaurant, a state-of-the art health club, a destination spa, and the region's largest privately-owned plant nursery. Eighty percent of the 4.2 million square foot development is made up of green space, beautiful themed gardens, naturally landscaped lakes and freshwater streams. Phase I of the abundantly green development features 189 villas in The Residences, 28 bespoke luxury villas in The Reserve, a destination spa Heart & Soul, Body Language health club and signature restaurant The Farm. Phase II aims to introduce the development to a wider audience, and will see the creation of a 6-star boutique hotel, retail offerings and further residential development in addition to Ashjar, Seventh Heaven and The Nest.
As part of its sustainable landscaping, Al Barari uses recycled green waste from landscape maintenance through composting. Additionally, residents are encouraged to recycle through the underground waste system that separates organic from inorganic waste. Water conservation is also an essential part of the Al Barari community. A Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) water system is connected to the community enabling it to recycle Dubai’s water. A polishing plant was installed to clean and enhance the quality of the water, which is then used throughout the waterways and for irrigation of the landscape. With over 80% of Al Barari dedicated to its abundant greenery, this green heart of Dubai consists of over 325 acres with 1,800 different kinds of plants. To reduce its carbon footprint, developers have adopted sustainability initiatives including: shading, daylight harvesting, solar power, cross ventilation, smart control irrigation, radiant cooling, waste management, recycling and water treatment, as well as energy saving systems.
Al Barari is home to the acclaimed The Farm restaurant, which is a unique concept built around natural surroundings that offer interactive menus, a variety of dishes to suit all dietary requirements, and an on-site bakery. The Farm’s philosophy is to serve high-quality, wholesome food the way nature intended, in a relaxed setting. Nestled within a landscape and tranquil waterways, Heart & Soul spa promotes health and wellbeing. Body Language health and fitness club features sunken tennis courts, a variety of group exercises classes, a state-of-the-art gym, highly experienced personal trainers, sport massage services, a Fresh Start juice bar, and an outdoor temperature-controlled pool.
