Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT) is situated strategically between Al Khail Road, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and The Springs, adjacent to its sister development Jumeirah Village Circle. However, property developer Nakheel will be building the 3.6 million square foot mall Al Khail Avenue, to be open by 2018. The leisure destination will be located on the eastern side of JVT, and will comprise 350 shops across its 1.5 million square feet of shopping, dining and entertainment space. These will include an anchor supermarket, department stores, cinema and entertainment zone, other speciality outlets and a number of cafés and restaurants – many of which will provide visitors with optional outdoor eating, during the cooler winter months. Al Khail Avenue’s multi-storey car park will accommodate approximately 4,400 vehicles, over its 2 million square foot space.
