No matter what your budget there are lots of different areas to find good quality properties for rent in Dubai. Here is a guide to some of the best places to start your search.
One of Dubai’s most desirable villa communities, the Springs has always been popular with families, although rents have fluctuated greatly in the aftermath of the global financial crisis. This community of townhouses comes with amazing views of waterways, lush landscaping and beautiful gardens. The area also includes various amenities such as banks, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and more.
Downtown Dubai is a hotspot for young go-getters and has Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, located right at its centre. Add to this Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping and entertainment destination, and The Dubai Fountain, the world’s tallest performing fountain, and it’s easy to see why this is one of the top pieces of real estate in the world – with rental prices to match.
The Palm Jumeirah is one of Dubai’s most iconic developments and renting property here does not come cheap – but it does offer an amazing lifestyle. This grand development stretches out in the Arabian Gulf in the shape of a date palm tree, the UAE's national plant. Apart from housing some of the fanciest residential villas and apartments, it is also one of the most popular destinations with visitors and attracts lots of tourists during the holiday seasons.
Rents in Motor City, a district sandwiched between Dubai Sports City and Arabian Ranches, went through a something of a hike in 2014, but have evened out since. The community is the ultimate destination development and offers a combination of entertainment, dining and retail within a pedestrian orientated, multi-use environment. The area is based on a motor-sport theme and includes residential units, motor-sports facilities, retail, and a theme park.
Properties for rent in Dubai don’t come more sought after than those in Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR). Dubai Marina offers a vast array of skyscrapers with apartments to rent and in recent times these prices have dipped significantly – despite the luxuriousness of the waterside living. JBR is a beachfront community featuring huge sand coloured residential blocks. Rents here can be quite reasonable if you shop around and flats offer amazing views across Dubai.
